Help Voice Command not functioning with bluetooth after 4.0.4 update

Okay. I am not totally sure what the "proper" name is to call this function, but it is the function on my S2 that translates voice to text. I don't know if it is voice command, voice talk, vlingo or something else. But in most apps when you go to type something in, there is a little microphone in the bottom left corner of the Android keyboard that you can tap on and then say what you want to type and it will type it it for you.

Before I updated my phone to android 4.0.4, it use to work with my Plantronics Voyger Pro Plus, but now (after the update) it does not. Each time I want to use this function, I have to turn my BT headset off and use the phone speaker. The problem is not one of translation, it simply does not listen through the BT headset. I have also noticed another problem with the BT after the update. When trying to make a phone call from my headset by pushing and holding on the call button, my phone can't understand what I am saying. It used to work almost flawlessly before the update, but now it does not. In this case it does listen through the BT, but it does not understand what I am saying. For instance, I might try calling my wife by saying, "CALL IRENE". The phone might come back with something crazy like, "Calling Roger" or something totally different then what I said that is not even close sound wise to the name I said. Most of the time it just says that the name is not found in the address book. I talk on this headset 8 to 10 hours a day and have never had a complaint about voice quality, so I know that mic is not damaged.

So basically, any function involving voice command or voice to text translation, I have to turn off the BT function and use the phones mic. Is this a common problem with the S2 with Android 4.0.4?
