Voice Input on Hero?

[berardi1111]

I'm trying to do some research for my brother - he is having a lot of trouble typing and wanting Voice Input on his Hero like on the keyboard like on the Evo and other devices.

How do you get this? Install an apk? Root necessary?

I greatly appreciate help. I'm sorry, I did search but could not find an answer.

Thanks!

Get the HTC_ime keyboard from the xda forums, same layout, no lag, and has the voice entry you seek.

Thanks I'll have him check it out. Weird I thought it would have it by default, oh well!
