Help Voice not working

Hey, I just got my new fascinate for Christmas, and I'm loving it- except I think I screwed up when I was setting it up. When it asked to allow some basic things to use my location, I unclicked the checkmarks, figuring I can allow them later if I want. But now I'm having some trouble: trying to search using bing isn't working(it says "Make sure that you are connected to a network and try again", while I am connected to a network), and for some reason clicking the speakerphone button when I'm typing sends me to the privacy section of settings. The only two options are "use my location" and a factory research, I have use my location checked but that doesn't seem to make a difference.


Please note that I'm not looking to root my phone or "de-bing" it-for now- I just want it to work for the moment and I could really use some help.


Edit: Okay, for some reason making a phone call gave it a bit of a boost! Everything works now but bing voice search, which is still not working.

Just an FYI, there have been several reports from people that Bing voice search doesn't work, similar to what you are experiencing (check network...) i can't really tell you how to fix because mine is rooted and using google, but when i first got my phone, it would on occasions give me a network error or other times it would just sit there thinking and never search. With that being said, it would work not as good as Google but it would work.
