Help Voice recognition does not work

My voice recognition does not work anymore. I press the microphone icon and it immediately closes out. It was working fine it seems until the fine folks at vm loaded an update to fix my 3G... Now 3G works..but voice recognition does not

Any ideas ?

I believe you need to be connected to the Internet either via 3G or WiFi to make it work.

It no longer works with 3G or wifi...is there some type of settings I need to review
