Help Voice Recorder Missing

donniedy

Lurker
I just bought 2 LG G4s from AT&T and when configuring it I noticed a missing Voice Recorder native app in the app drawer.
Researching on the Applications menu I see it under All Apps however I cannot access it.
Is there a way to access the app? Anyone with the same issue?

I contacted LG support and this is their answer:

Regarding your concern, the Voice Recorder feature should be accessible on the Quickmemo app.

1. From Home screen, tap APPS > QuickMemo > tap plus (+) icon > tap Menu button (3 dots on the upper right corner of the screen > tap Insert > select Record Voice.

So the Voice Recorder can only be accessed via another app.

Must be an at&t thing? My g4 from Verizon has an app folder named "tools" that has the voice recorder in it. Its at the top of the app drawer, or whatever it's called.

1st day with Sprint version and the voice recorder is there along with another other native voice app and the google voice search app

Does anyone know where the audio recordings are saved at on the phone? I want to export the audio i recorded in Quickmemo+ and save it on my computer.
