Help Voice Recorder not working

Hi Im a newbie and just got the Optimus M. I have downloaded a handful of apps but nothing too major. I have not rooted the phone or done anything like that, but I just tried to use the voice recorder to record some songs and it keeps saying "internal error". It does this for both modes, MMS and whatever.

Does anybody have a similar problem or any suggestions?

Also, how do you get these apps like Boingo and the Metropcs Wifi app to stop coming on? I get the memo widget and almost everyt app coming on automatically every few hours!

With Froyo(Android 2.2) You don't need a Task Killer, that will just cause more problems, Froyo automatically runs app, it's part of it's task manager.

Root the phone (temp or perm, your choice) and DELETE Boingo.

For the Easy Wi-Fi app, just disable the "Network notification" checkmark box (Settings/Wi-Fi Settings), if you don't want audible chimes and beeps every time you pass a free wi-fi hotspot. But don't delete the Easy Wi-Fi app -- it gives you free access to over 500,000 hotspots around the country. You might need one.

I work for Boingo Wireless and can give you info on disabling Boingo Wi-Fi notifications:

1) Select Boingo from applications group
2) Accept the EULA
3) While in the Boingo application; select the device’s menu button
4) Select settings
5) Uncheck both Auto Login and Hotspot Notification options
