some help -- I am trying to switch all of my "other items", PDA, etc. onto my Droid X.. I used a Philips 7655 digital voice recorder, and want an app for my droid that will let me record notes, saved them, and play them back. The one I found on my own doesn't work too well . . . has anyone had good success with any application like this?

Welcome to the Android Forums!

While there are app's in the market to do voice recording, I'd suspect few will be satisfactory for your needs given that the microphones on most Android phones are designed to pick up sound in close proximity.
