Help Voice Search Calls won't connect

Whenever I use Voice search to make a call, it adds a "+1" to the phone number and I get a "call not connected" sign and the call drops. Even if I go back to recent calls and try it again, it still doesn't work. If I go remove the +1, it goes right through.

FYI, I was on a leaked GB version, but sbf'd back to stock Froyo today to await the OTA update.
