Does anyone know where I can get the gaps voice file for cm9, if there is one??

Also, I have noticed that when I have my phone plugged in to the cigarette plug and running either tune in radio or maps that it looses charge. I would have thought that with it being plugged in (no matter what app Im using), it would have enough to charge. Has anyone else had this problem??? Thanks for your feedback and help.
go to page 1 and read all the directions, it s the i c s gapps

I went to the first page of this thread, there is only one gapps file (current) isnt that the file for google market. Im looking for the file for google voice.

The GAPPS file has a bunch of google software in addition to the market. However, I don't think Google Voice is included. You just need to download and install that from the Market.

Ok thanks, I have downloaded voice search from the market, that works. When I use ICS full keyboard, the mic button on the keyboard does not work. When I press it, nothing happens. Also, when Im into a browser, the typing box at the top, theres no option for a mic, when before when I was in cm7, there always was?? Am I doing something wrong??

Are you installing Google Voice? or Voice Search? I have seen you talk about installing both, is that right, or was it just one of them?

OK. I moved this to it's own thread to avoid cluttering the ROM thread.

Did you reboot your phone after installing voice search?

After reboot, I tried with the keyboard in the messaging app, the mic button is there but when I press it nothing happens. When Im into a browser and bring up the keyboard, the mic button isnt even on the keyboard. :(

It could very well be an issue with that keyboard app. Have you tried a different one?

I just tested both the messaging app and the stock browser. Pressing the mic icon on the keyboard that pops up starts the Listening dialog so you can speak your command. This was in both apps on my phone.

I'd recommend you try a full clean wipe and try again. Perhaps either you got a bad flash or there's something on your phone currently that is interfering.

Before I installed the last update I lost the mic option on my keyboard. Thought it might of had something to do with deleting Google+ but didn't think much about it. When I updated it didn't reappear so I re-flashed gapps (latest version). After that it is back and works fine.

Well, I have reflashed the gapps file again. When I get into the messaging app, I now have the mic button on my keyboard but when I open a browser (dolphin or google chrome) I still dont have a mic on my keyboard. Wierd. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks

Are you using the stock keyboard?

Ok, then maybe there's something up with that keyboard that needs to get updated by the app's devs. Try switching back to the stock keyboard and see if the mic shows up. As I said before, the mic shows up fine on my stock keyboards.

It also works fine in SwiftKey X, which was why I asked if they had tried a different keyboard.

I changed to the stock keyboard and there was no mic on that keyboard. I went into settings to make sure it was checked. I checked both dolphin and chrome browsers and also the messaging app. When I had ICS Full Keyboard, I had the mic in the messaging app, but not in the two browsers. Any ideas what is going on?

Try reinstalling Voice Search. If that doesn't work, then I would suggest a full wipe and then reflash the from and gapps.
