Help Voice search - two versions

I have two version installed - 1.4.6 with an option to uninstall and version 1.6.0 with no option.

the first one i installed from the market prior to updating to 2.2 android.

All works ok.
Am I ok to remove the earlier version or are the two working together?

The 1.6 version is installed as part of the 2.2 Android update, so yes I guess it's safe to uninstall the older version

Odd...

I'd installed voice search while on 2.1 (I don't know what version) but having upgraded to 2.2 I only have the provided version (1.6.0).

I'd have thought you can uninstall the older one. However you do so at your own risk

ok I removed the earlier version without a problem leaving just 1.6.0
