Help Voice Talk?

Been messing around trying to get this to work, all seems fine and I have now figured out the Text to Speech for SMS but this only seems to work if the voice talk screen is open. I enable driving mode and a message comes in, I can say readout and it will play but if i say cancel it dumps me out of Voice talk and back to the main screen, now if a message comes in it will tell me but I cant find a way to play the message. If I open Voice talk it tells me U..H..A..V..E..1 new message from +44....

Any ideas to play the recieved SMS?
 
Not sure I understand your questions corrently - however try this..

Avoiding Voice Talk for a moment, go to Settings, Voice Input and Output. Then under the Text to Speech option it should bring you to a screen where you can turn on Driving mode, however also check the language that is chosen for Text-to-Speech. There are less lanaguages available for this feature than keyboard and fonts etc.

If you turn on Driving mode here all SMS and callers should be read allowed, regardless of using Voice Talk or not?
