Help Voice typing in sms results in gibberish.

I love my LG Optimus V. I have had it for about six months. My problem started recently. I used to be able to use voice actions to write texts while I drive and it worked pretty well. Lately it just types gibberish words or what looks like a foreign language. I have checked the settings and it says english but it's not working right at all. I went to Best Buy and talked to a phone tech and he was no help at all saying he has never gotten his to work right. HELP

I don't know if this applies, but there are a couple voice-related updates in the market (updates from the stock versions that came with the phone). You should be notified of them when you check My Apps in the market app. I don't use voice recognition so I can't be of any specific help there.

Make sure the language of your keyboard is also set to English. You can also try clearing your user word bank.
