Help Voicemail icon on homescreen

I've searched all over the threads looking for this and hopefully someone can help.

Regarding the green voicemail icon on the home screen. I want it to go straight to voice mail when I click it, instead of giving me another screen option to "set up visual voice mail" or "tap to call voicemail".

I figured out how to create a shortcut and place it on my home screen dial straight into my voicemail, but the icon is simply a silhoutte of a person with a phone in the bottom right hand corner.

So, I'm either looking to change the green voicemail icon to dial directly into my voicemail without another step, or change the "silhoutte" icon to a green voicemail icon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there are a few things you can try.
download better cut from market.
then assign a direct dial then you can choose the vmail icon.

You may also be able to do this with launcher pro
but since i primarily use better cut i dont use launcher pro.

Go into applications. Lower left just above the home screen button.

You should have a voicemail icon in the app list. Hold it down till it highlights and drag it toward the bottom of the screen.

Just a recommendation out of left field ... but have you considered Google Voice for Voice Mail? I have used it for nearly 2 years now and love it.
