Help Voicemail icon/shortcut & double icons

My phone keeps making double icons/shortcuts on top of the already existing ones. I thought it was something I might be doing when I touch them but some would get that and I had not used the icon. Is there something I might be doing wrong?

I deleted the voicemail shortcut on accident & can not find where to put it back. I checked widgets and shortcuts. I sure hope it is not gone forever.

Phone is not rooted.

There was another that had doubled up icons as well, You might check with that thread see if he found anything.

This is the link Optimus was referring 2 . There is a fix in there . Hope it will work for you . As for the voicemail icon , I really wouldn't worry about it because when you have missed a call it will let you know at the top on the pull down screen . Just pull it down and if you have a voicemail ,tap it and straight to voicemail you go . :D

Thanks to both of you. I can't use what he uses because my phone is not rooted and not something I really want to do. I will check out other similar apps though.

Thanks again, I found something that fixed the issue for the double icons. It is called Fast Reboot. Similar to what was used in the other thread but for phones that are not rooted.
