Help Voicemail indicator

I am not receiving any voicemail indication in the notification bar or on the voicemail icon. Can someone tell me what the settings should be, I have already cld Sprint tech support and they could not help. TIA

Open your voicemail program
Hit MENU on the phone
Hit Settings
Hit Notifications up top
Make sure the Notofications box is checked, you can also choose to make it vibrate.

I would then call Sprint and make sure your Voicemail box is set to sync with your Evo voicemail notifications. The issue might be on Sprints voicemail service, they are the ones who send you a notification when you get a voicemail.

I get a notification on the notification bar, but nothing on the visual voicemail icon. I recently had my EVO swapped, so I'm wondering if something got messed up during the ESN swap.

Since I'm getting the icon on the notification bar, not too worried about it. As indicated earlier, I'm sure it has something to do with the synching of voicemail between your phone and Sprints voicemail system.

I hope someone else here can chime in with a solution.
