After I rooted I noticed that my Voicemail icon was gone. I downloaded a VM that someone posted which is for droid x I believe, but when I get a voicemail it says no properly download or something.
Voicemail is provided by the carrier and isn't really a function of your phone. You should contact your carrier to find our what the appropriate voicemail settings are.
