Help Voicemail Notification Error??

I have had people telling me they have left me voicemails, but I have enever had the notification along the top of the screen. I am not rooted, as have been told that that can cause this issue.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? or know of any solutions??

I think it depends who your service provider is. Only certain ones allow the icon notification and some just do text message notification (3 in the UK being one I think). You might have to go into your voicemail settings (by dialing your voicemail) to set notifications up as well.
