How To Voicemail Questions

[goon55]

Can someone tell me the difference between using Google Voice and VZW Visual Voice Mail. Aside from the price I mean. I currently have visual voicemail installed and I have watched all the vids from google on Voice so I understand how both work, but can you guys give me your opinions on your preference and/or maybe advantages of one over the other?

Thanks

Well, you get a text transcription with GV (albeit not a very good one at times ). Also, the ability to access your voicemail from anywhere you're connected to the web is great. The unified online SMS/voicemail inbox works very well if you're using your GV # to text as well.

I'd try both and see which one works for you...if you don't have a GV invite, PM me. I've got a few to spare.
