Voicemail [Sprint]

Is there a voicemail notification on the Nexus 5? I just happened to notice that I had a missed phone call and no voicemail was left. I go in and check it manually (long press 1) and sure enough, I had a voicemail.

Since you're on sprint, it gets handled a little differently than how sprint normally does things (IE the sprint visual voicemail app)

I'm on Sprint as well, and I get a text message whenever I get a voicemail.

Hmmm, I havent gotten any notification. Although I have sprint as my carrier, my phone is through the play store if that makes any difference.

Why not install the Google voice app, and use Google Voice Lite (not google voice integration for sprint)? This is the equivalent of visual voicemail.

I had the same issues when I first got my nexus. I had 21 vmails never got a notification. I called sprint they reset my whole voicemail and its been working ever since.

I got some text notifications today with a weird 4 digit number today and I relaized that is the voicemail notification. So all is good now that I know that's how it works.
