I recently was notified about a voicemail update that enables a person to save their messages to their SD card. Is it safe to update on a rooted phone?

yes, safe to upgrade... 'bout time they gave us that option of saving to sd...

I upgraded mine a few days ago. Now my notification on the vm icon does not appear.
