Help Voicemail update

So I'm getting the vm update notification but the phone keeps telling me I do not have room to download it. I've been deleting things for months due to not enough space. How much room does this update need? I've got about 50 mb now.

I had between 50-60mb and mine downloaded just fine with no errors.

I had to empty my trash can. Try to update over a secure wifi connection. Once I connected to my home wifi the device updated with no problem.

I'm trying to do it over wi fi not working though. How do you empty the trash can, didn't know their was a "trash can"

I used the wrong term, apologies. I should have said, delete all items in your deleted folder. Then try to update.

That is what I had to do and the system updated with no problem.

Ok, I have empytied it out, still it will not download.
