Root volume button not working

I was wondering if this would cause some problems if I should start rooting and romming. I figure since there are touch recoveries it shouldn't be a problem but I just want to make sure before I start something I can't finish.

the biggest issue with it is that you cannot get into hboot from powered off. and if you adb reboot bootloader or use an app to get to bootloader,youll be in fastboot,wich isnt a big deal,dep on what you want to do.

I was able to root it, have not started romming just yet.

It seems my father dropped the phone so much, that the volume button no longer works and vibration vanished.
