Volume control

Hi there, looking for some advice with this.

I'm using my S4 with appradio in my car.........each time I connect to play music through the car, my phones volume as automatically reduced to 8........I then need to turn it back up to 15. Is there a way of this being automatic instead of a manual action?

Regards

Simple answer is no. ...... The phone thinks your plugging in ear phones. And the reduction in volume is a safety feature.

Seems odd consider I'm plugging nothing into the headphone jack.........how does it think I'm using headphones.......it's connected by the normal power port.

Thought you were doing it through the audio jack. I used to have a different Android phone that used to do it through blue tooth.

look into and exp;ore the settings in the app radio app. There might be a "smart volume" setting that keeps the volume at the "8" position or whatever you might be able to select. Some of the apps I have with my head-unit connections have their own volume settings.....

just MIGHT solve your "quirk"

Aloha and good luck.
