Help Volume Issues

When I connect and disconnect a bluetooth headset or speaker, it changes my volume profile. And it doesn't change it back to what it was - it changes it to something else. This includes setting the system volume to almost zero.

Is there any way to change the default sound profiles that the Nexus seems to be using? Its really annoying to have to change it each time I connect and disconnect a bluetooth device?

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem (see above). I've installed Volume Control Pro and I can see that when I plug in a wired headset or a bluetooth headset it changes the volume profile both when its connected and disconnected. Does anyone know how to modify the profiles it sets itself to?
