Help Volume level of typing sound when using keyboard

For some reason the volume of the "click" sound is either really loud or really low. It seems to change on its own for no reason.

Does anyone know why this might be the case? And is there a way to control the volume of it?

Thanks for any help!

The keyboard volume is determined by the media volume, so if it's turned up or down, the keyboard volume will be, too. PITA!

It would be nice if there was a fix to set the keyboard volume separately, but I haven't found one.

Actually my media volume is turned up all the way and it is still really low. It was loud before, but now just really low. So I am not sure what is wrong. Any other ideas? Thank you for the fast response by the way.

Audio Manager is the best way to set the seven different volume levels of an Android phone. I can't endorse the no duh this product causes any stronger. Something like it belongs in pure Google.

I completely agree. Audio Manager is an awesome app!!

That app definitely helped. Thanks. I don't understand why the volume changed on it own though, but cool that I can now manipulate it myself.

I use Quick Settings. The lockscreen sounds and the keyboard volume are controlled by the System Volume.

I think that there is a setting where the System Volume matches your ring tone volume. So, if you have the Sense option checked that "quiets" your ring tone when you pick up the phone, it can also end up quieting down your keyboard too. I'm not 100% sure about this, but it's the only thing I can think off.

Thanks. I too like Quick Settings better than Audio Manager because it has a smaller footprint than the AM widget and gives you more capability than just the audio settings.

I'm going to give both of those a shot. I used Sound Manager on my OG Droid and it would lock in the keyboard volume by system volume, but it didn't work on my Bolt. I'd change the media volume and down or up my keyboard volume would go.

Ive noticed that you the setting that lets you hear a click when you click on an app or a button or whatever, whenever i hear it, it is either a high or low sound...its weird.
