Volume manager app with app profiles?

Is there a volume manager app that automatically sets the volume based on what app you use? Example for youtube, revision3, or bbc app I would like the "media volume" to be max and goes back to default for other programs. I am using Alarm clock plus which also media volume sound profile. So sometimes my alarm clock sound is through the roof which is annoying if I forget to set it back lower before I sleep.

Tasker can do that with a simple profile, but it's probably a bit pricey if that's all you want it to do. On the other hand, I can't imagine anyone with Tasker being satisfied with having it do only one thing - I'm sure you would find plenty for it to do.

I believe it does. I know that it has more built in features. Locale can do a lot of the same things but you have to download addition plug ins to make it work. Most locale plug ins do work with Tasker though, for example I downloaded a car dock plug in to use with Tasker to simulate a car dock.

Yes i agree with your "Most locale plug ins do work with Tasker though," Some Locale plug-in publically announced that they compatible with tasker.

Tried it. Tasker is the only app worth of doing it. Slightly expansive but better than any kind of audio manager.
