Help Volume notification icon?

My notification bar has a volume icon on it. It wont go away and this is the first time Ive seen it. Is it something obvious? Im on Ota gb update. Its the same icon you see when you adjust the volume..

youre not using volumer+ are you? if so, go into the app and deselect "notify"

other than that, can you describe exactly what you are looking at.

btw, volumer is a grey circle with white outlining. i just dont know what you are looking at.

I think the icon the OP is referring to indicates that the ringer is turned on. It should eventually go away on its own.

Easy fix. it's the speakerphone that's activated. Dial a number like 1 and send, hit the speakerphone button...icon gone.

Yep it was the speaker phone! Gb is full of wonders

i realized this when I was at home and i put the user on speaker phone. wanted to come back here and fix my post but forgot. :\

If you turn on the speaker on or unplug your headphones the speaker doesn't time out and shut off like it did before GB.
