Volume rocker

Getting ready to get rid of my Droid 1. Looking real hard at the Dinc2. Noticed the volume rocker on the Dinc2 is on the left side which is opposite of the Droid1. Even HTC's own T-Bolt has the rocker on the right side. Why aren't they all the same? Does it make a difference? One potential issue I noticed is that the rocker is on the same side as the charge port which could be an issue with docks.

Just got my DINC2 a couple of hours ago ( also coming from a Droid1). The volume rocker is much lower profile than the moto.

Why do some American cars have the gas tank on the drivers side while others put it on the passenger side? Some questions will never be answered. What I can tell you is if you select a DInc2, you will love it

Good analogy. Hadn't thought about the gas cap thing.

yeah the switch for me from the DROID X2 is a little tricky also but i like the low profile style the dinc 2 has its very nice

I'm thinking the low profile will be better too. The rocker profile on the OG Droid is so high that I had to get an app that forced confirmation that I really wanted to change the volume, otherwise I'd be taking it out of silent or vibrate mode at the worst times.

One thing I do not like about the DINC2, and yet I do at the same time, is the side the volume rocker is on. This really screws with docking it in the stock dock (which I have and no longer use), since you can't adjust the freaking volume!!!

That said, I still love the phone..
