Help Volume runaway after bluetooth disconnect

Every time I disconnect my UnderVolt from bluetooth (car or headset) the earpiece volume goes to full and stays there, regardless of where it was set before. The only way to control the earpiece volume after that is to manually adjust it to full and then the volume will decrease to a normal setting. My Uncredible did the exact same thing. Is this a normal HTC thing? I find it very annoying.

Still wondering...am I really the only one having this annoying issue with 2 different model HTC phones? Anyone...Bueller?

I have the Incredible and use BT headsets daily for my tunes. I've never experienced this problem. I wish I had a suggestion for you... I don't believe the problem is HTC though you've experienced it across two devices. Good luck solving the problem.

Thanks for the response. I'm a little surprised no one else has had or noticed this issue. I was very surprised that the TB did the exact same thing as my Inc!

Is the headset old. There have been enhancements made to Bluetooth. Technology marches on.

Connecting to Plantronics Voyager Pro and a 2010 Nissan SUV. Both phones had max volume problems with both Bluetooth systems.
