Volume turns off on alerts

Anyone have problems with their alerts volume turning off? If I restart the phone it comes back, but idk why it randomly turns off...

Try navigating to Settings -> Sound -> volume then turn up the Notification volume. See if that works for you. Also make sure you don't have an app that is turning down the sound.

you know i do have the same issue. but i do believe its the messaging app that i use. i use chomp. i got tired of it doing that so what i did was turned off the notification in the chomp app and turn the notification on in the basic messaging app. and i didn't have a problem with it again. might not be your issue but it worked 4 me.

yeah i have checked the volume & i don't have any apps.. lol.. just does it randomly.. weird!!
