Help Volume way too loud!

Hi friends, I just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S3 today. I've been playing around with it and am really enjoying it (I had an iPhone 4 lol) but I do have one problem.

The ringer volume is WAY too loud. I have it on the lowest setting before it goes to vibrate and silent.

I looked through the forum pages but I didn't see anything that might help.

I looked through the app store but I'm not sure which app might help. Any ideas?

I'd prefer to keep my phone stock. I'm not really good with the modifications haha.

Thanks in advance!

Jennifer

Hello and welcome to AF, Jennifer. :)

If you went to Settings > Sound and turned it down that's is low as it will go. I don't know of any apps for this I'm afraid.

Thank you for the welcome! =)

Thanks for the idea DragonSlayer95. I tried the app you suggested but all it does is change the volume at the same rate. The lowest volume with it is the same.

I went through the app store and tried a few others but they all have the same 7 or so tics and the lowest is always the same.

I'm not really sure what to do. I even tried re-recording my ringtone with Audacity at a lower volume but it sounded like crap haha.

You could download a ringer you like from Zedge on your pc, download mp3gain on your pc, and adjust the level WAY DOWN. then make a folder on your phone called "ringtones" and drag/drop your new custom ringtone into it. Worth a try.
