Help Voodoo Lagfix

I've read lot of posts about SGS lag fixes at XDA. It seems Voodoo lagfix is the most consistent out of all of them. Some quick questions to those already using Voodoo lagfix:

(1) Which version are you using? (there's beta 5, beta 4, version 3)
(2) Do you need to be rooted to use the lagfix? I did check the FAQ section, it says you need not be rooted, but wanted to confirm anyhow.
(3) How is your experience with reverting the lagfix? I expect Froyo will be available in next few weeks, so I want to make sure the changes are easily reversible.
(4) Are the color fixes required for SGS? Voodoo talks about bluish tinge & lack of sharpness in stock version, but I don't notice it.
(5) Read in some posts that Voodoo causes battery issues, have you experienced this?

(1) Which version are you using? (there's beta 5, beta 4, version 3), I'm running FroYo now, so 5 - I've used it on Eclair as well
(2) Do you need to be rooted to use the lagfix? I did check the FAQ section, it says you need not be rooted, but wanted to confirm anyhow. No
(3) How is your experience with reverting the lagfix? I expect Froyo will be available in next few weeks, so I want to make sure the changes are easily reversible. Very simple, simply create a file called undo voodoo lagfix (as per the intructions) and reboot, job done
(4) Are the color fixes required for SGS? Voodoo talks about bluish tinge & lack of sharpness in stock version, but I don't notice it. I haven't applied any colour fixes, like you I haven't noticed any issues
(5) Read in some posts that Voodoo causes battery issues, have you experienced this? Nope
I've also tried OCLF, but my personal opinion is that Voodoo is better

(4) Are the color fixes required for SGS? Voodoo talks about bluish tinge & lack of sharpness in stock version, but I don't notice it. Not very good as screen light become unstable
(5) Read in some posts that Voodoo causes battery issues, have you experienced this?
Not noticeable as faster speed reduce waiting time
