I have the Verizon non-rooted up-to-date Vortex and anytime I get a message at the bottom it says "message from ###-###-####" then a little bit later I get the message. It also displays a number never a contact. At first I thought it would be from the anti-sms bomber app, so i deleted it, but that was not the solution
