VPN in Android 2/Droid?

Same here. We have an ASA and cannot connect using the Droid, but we can using the iPhone 3G, which is what I used to have. There is an enhancement request open for this. Feel free to go there and add a star. Don't add a "me too" comment, though.

Issue 3902 - android - Feature Request: "pure" ipsec vpn client (cisco-compatible) - Project Hosting on Google Code

Please VOTE (don't comment!) if you haven't yet. I want an Android phone and see tons of potential but it must have cisco ipsec first.

There is a Cisco VPN app on the Market called VPN Connect - it has IPSec gateway address, IPSecID, IPSec Secret, username & password. But i have been having a devil of a time connecting to my office vpn, althought, i have the required information

My primary reason for a VPN client was to access my Outlook email/calendar/address book ... Since my posting, Goodlink has released a clien for the Droid that I have been using and am 'mildly' happy with. Since it's the first release for the Droid, it has a lot of missing features, but the basics of email/calendar/address book sync work fine.

I am interested in a vpn client that doesn't require the user to enter the password everytime. I would like to save the password like you can in the windows vpn app.

My droid is password protected itself so . .

Any suggestions?

You can use the 1 VPN app . It lets me connect and disconnect my VPN in 1 click. It's just out, but I love what I seen of it so far.

Hope it helps

Ok just like everyone else I need this to work. I am in a position to change or add to the PIX Cisco firewall as I have access to it.
I'm not a cisco guy so please make this simple...lol
How can I get any of these VPN's wo work with the android?
L2TP/IPSEC pre-shared key based VPN
L2TP/IPsec certificate based VPN
L2TP only VPN
PPTP only VPN

Code etc would be awesome. I have made minor changes but not sure how to set this all up.

Thanks

I heard for the first time about Cisco VPN. I have an iPhone 7 and need a free VPN for this. I found a blog, 7 free VPNs are mentioned over there but I'm confused what free VPN would be best for my iPhone 7. Would anyone suggest me the best one?
