VPN Support for Droid

araskin01

Newbie
I am a current BB user and am very interested in moving over to the Droid, but have concerns about getting my corporate Outlook email. We do NOT support Activesync; we have 3 methods for mobile access:
BEZ server for BB (not applicable with Droid)
GoodLink - I have not found that GoodLink is supported on the Droid?
VPN - this is how our iPhone users currently access email.

So I have a few questions:
Is GoodLink suppoted on the Droid?
Is VPN supported natively on the Droid - or is there a VPN client for the Drod? ...I am not a developer and don't want to mess with the root for any development, etc....

Thanks for the help!

I can confirm that, I just check on my Droid and it's out-of-the-box (natively) supports PPTP, L2TP, IPSec PSK & CRT

these types of VPN's are supported:
VPN, 802.1x

A new Virtual Private Network (VPN) control panel in Settings allows users to configure and connect to the following types of VPNs:

  • L2TP/IPSEC pre-shared key based VPN
  • L2TP/IPsec certificate based VPN
  • L2TP only VPN
  • PPTP only VPN
