Root VV3, VV4 no longer works.... No more root!

Okay, I have spent 20 hours flashing and re-flashing my firmware and this is what it comes down to. You can use ZVA or VV5 on the LG Connect since Metro PCS bought and merged with T-Mobile. Bunch of Corporate Hacks!!!! They finally figured out a way to make most of us loose Root or we have to deal with a hot a$$ phone and short battery life using ZVA!

If you want a signal and to use mobile data you will have to use your phone on VV5... no root

If you want Root and a Signal and Mobile data and short battery life and a hot as Hell phone you will have to use ZVA (which sucks)!!!!

The only thing that we can hope for is that someone somewhere can root VV5 for us. Which is very doubtful

I will be going back to ZVA because I have to have my phone Rooted.

If you know of something else or how to stop the error in vv3 when it tries to pick up 4G please reply here and let us know. The error is "Sorry! The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and it is making the phone run hot because it is looking for a way to connect to 4G but it can't connect thanks to Metro PCS, your battery will be dead in like 1 hour.

Right now I am done messing with this and will be looking for a new phone and carrier, something that developers are working on and that can use CM10/11 if you know of a phone please let me know.

R.I.P. LG Connect! Thanks Metro PCS for letting us use this phone for 13 months and taking about 500 dollars from my pocket!

That's why I'm switching to nexus 4 or so nexus FTW and the error is what I mentioned in the previous thread
 
Yea vv3 was working great for me for months then about 4 days ago I kept getting this error every 7 seconds. It says "Sorry! The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again!".. I spent 20+ hours flashing vv3 over and over but I still get that same damn error, tried vv4 and got the same error, the only thing that works for me was using vv5 or zva so right now I am using zva so I can have root. I am praying that the super Connect God's get vv5 rooted, if they do they will b getting money from me or I will bake them a delicious cake!
 
You know what's weird is that I'm still on VV3 and I've still got root and 4g.
But I have seen everyones posts about the force closes.
 
They may have not merged towers yet in your area but here in Georgia (It was on June 27th about 1A.M) when they merged towers with Tmobile the $hit hit the fan for everyone here in Georgia. I had to go back to zva (which is awful) just to get that error to go away and make my 4G work. If we take our phones in to metro work that area they have been told to swap the connect out for a motion I think (it was one of the 100 dollar LG phone, cheapo), lots of people got the shaft big time!

I have been having issues with call quality and random dropped calls recently. Seems to be an issue with the cell towers here in Boston for me though. Just going to ride things out, will switch to a Nexus for a phone when I can.
