Root VV5 root progress [SOLVED] WE HAVE ROOT!

root is already figured out, just need a tester :P

like i said on facebook, have teamviewer and the drivers to your device ill handle the rest once its confirmed ill report back to them :)
 
I'm working with Dan Rosenberg trying to root vv5 so let me see if Dan and I are successful. I will go ahead and install Android SDK on my PC that way I can test both versions if you want me too? I will keep y'all posted... B-)

Awesome. I would strongly recommend installing SDK, or ADB at the very least. Let me know if you are having a problem setting up ADB and/or need me to pull some files from my Connect.
 
Awesome, I haven't used irc in about 9 years. I don't even know if I remember how to use it. Let me fire up the laptop... ;)
 
I hate to ask but now that vv5 is rooted can someone write a de-bloating program for it? I need all of MPCS stuff gone, etc but I want to keep the app called "QuickMemo" that is in vv5 cause that is really useful.I have tried doing it with Titanium Backup (bloat melter) but it will not work for some reason.
 
I was going to be a tester and then Zandersig came in and replaced me :(
