Root VZB easy root?

It'll be less of a hassle to just wait until someone works on it. And yeah when 2.2 comes out it'll probably take a while to get modified and rooted I would imagine. Who knows maybe someone will have 2.2 ready to load onto Ally even before LG releases it.

I would say flash the rooted ROM with the update that drellisdee released because if you update OTA and lose root it'll be a pain in the butt to get a custom ROM on it again.

It will almost definitely be easily rootable. At the very least, you can flash a recovery with fastboot, so you won't get "stuck" there. UniversalAndroot should still work too.

Okay, rather than fall into asking why, what do you expect for an "easy" root exactly? Everything else I said is valid.

I guess what I meant by that, is can I use the command prompt way, just a little modified or something like that, if it I like everything I have from the rooted process before I might just do androot so I'll be rooted and have the update..

From what I understand, the traditional command line way (using the particular binary available for download from the rooting thread) will not work on VZB. However, that's not to say another command-line method can't be created.

Also, as others have stated there's a rooted ROM, and fastboot will work on VZB, so one way or another you should be more than fine.

I can confirm Universal Androot works on Ally vB (or v11, whatever you want to call it).
