Rising scale which multiplies in increments of 10-20% on the activations side. Reps get paid revenue by the dollar amount of the line they upgrade.
May Quota:
at risk = 1284
add quota = 25
revenue = 8100
Attainment:
$1284 x 48 adds (new lines) x 150% ($12150 worth contracts and accessories) revenue
total of just under 200 phones for the month
48 adds = 1.8 multiplier in the quota structure
1284 x 1.8 x 1.5 = $3466
Base = 27500 (3 years with company)
This is straight from my neighbor's commission printout who is only 24 years old...
I've laughed many times with him about how I should hang up my tool belt (Electrician) and apply to Verizon. Apparently and factually they pay their employess very well.
Ever since learning of how he is payed I viewed their employees in a whole new way, personally.
I couldnt believe it either when we first chit-chatted about it so I get where some of you are coming from.
