Help VZW: Handcent Multiple Notifications

Occasionally I've received two or three repeat SMS messages using Handcent. Today my phone practically blew up with multiple repeat messages. My wife replied to a message with "TY" and I received it 16 times! Anyone know what's going on?

doubt it is just Handcent. I had 3 messages that turned into 10 due to a repeat error. restart your phone, should be fine. oh, and have her restart hers, too.

I posted a photo on Facebook and it posted 3 times for no reason. I shut down my phone and it seems fine now.
