Help Vzw Skype in China? Work on Dinc?

My wife is taking her dinc to Beijing. I called in and activated the international data plan prorated for one week.

Will the skype app work to skype my Droid Eris?

Even tho its a CDMA country, I dont think apps that work through the internet will work. Not 100% sure tho.

I tried to use SKYPE while in Haiti and my brother tried while in S. Korea both times we go a message that you can only use it on Verizon's US network.
