Root VZW trying to push .602 update..

I SBFd last night from stock GB to froyo, to 4.5.596 rooted with Z4.

Keep getting popup from VZW for a .602 update. I thought root would block these? How do I block or stop these notifications? What happens if I accidentally accept the update?

If you rename a few files i believe the update would fail

Find /system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.apk (I'm pretty sure that's the name of the file) and change apk to bak.

Says I can not rename (or change permissions) because the file system is read-only..

Thoughts?

You could just reroot. That is unless you hate GB for some reason.
