I did a system restore back to a couple of days ago and downloaded the older moto 4.6 driver and then reconnected my droid x via usb cable. the connection work one time. Now its back to the blue screen.
Can anyone help, point me in the right direction. Is there a better way to get file off of my droid?
Thanks Mike

Make sure you have the latest drivers: USB and PC Charging Drivers - Motorola Mobility, Inc. USA

Then open the Motorola Driver Installer (Start... Programs... Motorola). Change the selection on the left to Clean and Reinstall, then click on Start. Then reboot.

If that doesn't fix your driver issue, then you still have another option... DropBox. Install it on your pc and grab it from Market. Then using Root Explorer or a similar app, copy the file and paste it in your dropbox on your phone and it'll end up on your computer and vice-versa.

A third option is to open your phone, unplug the sdcard and plug it into a usb adapter (a lot of work).

And finally, you could use a different computer.
