All the specs I read indicated that there would be FM radio on this device and it was actually one of the reasons I wanted it...

Ive read some speculation that the radio is in there somehow just disabled... but who knows?

Well there's a "radio" in the Droid X, but in checking it out I'd say it just plain sucks.

There are many radio apps available that can pick up your local stations like iheartradio, radiotime, wunderRadio. And then there are the music apps like last.fm, pandora, slacker.

Cherry Rplayer Works real well. I has All the Shoutcast, Icecast, and even has Local Stations (By City) to listen to.
