My DX has been delivered and is waiting for me at home. I am so excited. My first Droid.

Can't wait to start it up. Does it come with a charged battery? (Hope )

LOL. It'll have a little charge to it. Not much tho. Most of the phones that leave my store may have 30%-60% charge. enjoy!!

When mine arrived from Motorola's distribution center, it had a 70% charge. It will charge up to 100% pretty quick....just plug it into a wall rather than a USB port.

we got one to test here at work last week (yesterday they order 30 of them to replace our old windows mobile phones) but the unit we got to play with was 80% charged and week ahead of the ship date.

when i got my incredible on launch day it was 60% charged. even after charging it all the way though expect to kill the battery pretty fast, the urge to play with everything will be alot and doesn't represent how the battery will last in a couple of weeks when you get down to "normal" usage. there are alot of buttons to push on a droid phone so have fun killing the battery tonight pushing them all!
