Is there any way to see what may be causing a wake lock? My phone is 100% awake even with barely any screen on time. I am on mikg3.11 with underworld sbc test kernel.

Another good utility to use is Watchdog Lite. It'll tell you what's using the CPU the most and will alert you when something starts running all the time.

Wouldn't Watchdog Lite be the same as going into Manage Applications and clicking on the "running" tab?![]()
Sure, except you don't have to go to Manage Applications and view running processes. And that doesn't tell you a percentage of the CPU that any one process is taking.
This automatically alerts you of runnaway processes that can drain your battery. If those processes stay below a certain threshold then they don't trigger an alert.

An app like that may be useful for figuring out what the problem is on a current wake lock, but having a program running in the background to check for other programs running in the background in order to let the phone sleep seems backwards to me.
Alright guys...need some more help getting to the "root" of my issue. Android OS is the number 2 consumer of my battery. looking at better battery stats i see that WiFi is keeping my phone awake. This does not make sense to me, as i use juice defender to turn off mobile data and WiFi when screen is off. My radios, etc are all the most current. My wifes phone sleeps like a baby...our only difference is she has underworld sbc and. have stock sbc kernel. Her pro, etc also seems to be one version behind mine. Think this could be a kernel issue as stock is running ondemand...no screen off profile to "kill"anything?
