wall charger locks up phone

I just bought a car charger/wall charger on ebay from a reputable seller. the car charger works fine but the wall charger locks up the screen whenever its plugged in.

Can someone recommend a charger that works with the phone from a seller on ebay. I have the wall charger that comes with the phone I just wanted another one for the office and I don't want to pay the huge markup that sprint puts on them.

I had the same issue with one of my wall wart to usb power converters. I had another brand converter and it works fine. It seems the Epic is sensitive to the voltage level or line quality of the power output.
