Help wall paper size

what size do i make customized wallpapper.......... i tried 640x450 and it didnt work.... cant find an answer for this..:confused:
 
nobody huh?

maybe one of you with root could pull a stock wallpaper off and let us know what the size is? If anyone could do that I would be most grateful. Thanks

or if anyone with Launcher Pro could post their wallpaper size along with how many screens you have that would also be helpful.Thanks again
 
Also, has anyone noticed that because of the bidirectional homescreens(you can slide them up/down and left/right) the wallpapers cone out bloated or plain ugly looking. This is the only reason for why I use Launcher Pro. Check it out, you will absolutely love it.
 
If the pictures look blurry when you set them as wallpaper, download Launcher Pro. Don't leave the Market during download and press the home button. Check the box first to make it default then press launcher pro. Now try setting wallpaper again
