Beware of erratic wallcharger --

Mine Won't charge or device won't recognize charger it will discharge battery instead of charging



VZ tech sending replacement charger and battery

Using Computer USB set at charge only for now it works

Would like to find a good standalone battery charger to keep extra battery charged and just switch as needed any ideas where tofind one

I looked on ebay but i am leery of a 5.00 charger (they are marked with Motorola Skews but Motorola does not list one)

I don't like direct charging any device more risk of damage ...
 
I have been suspicious of the wall charger that came with my Droid X. It seems to take an extremely long time to charge, even with the phone powered off.

I found that plugging into the non-functional (except for power) USB port on the front of my FIOS STB seems to work better than even plugging it into my PC.
 
Just received this charger and cable from monoprice and when i plug it in it doesn't say charging. Maybe it is but i don't know. Ia there a setting i need to change on the phone?
