Help Wallpaper Dimensions?

[Vaetix]

On my Droid Incredible, I accumulated a large number of wallpapers, most from a great thread on these forums. Does anyone know the "native" wallpaper resolution of the Galaxy Nexus? I'd guess it's wider than the actual screen resolution...

Hoping we can get a killer wallpaper thread going.

It still requires you to crop though.
On the other hand, the GNex doesn't allow the complete screen surface to be used for wallpapers, the status bar and the soft button bar are off-limits, so what would be the effective screen resolution for making a maximized, crop-free wallpaper?
